SNP Passes the Blame

The Lord Advocate has decided not to prosecute users or operators of safe consumption rooms, effectively legalising the process overnight, with no other changes to the law being required.

In 2018, then Public Health Minister (and Dundee MSP) Joe Fitzpatrick MSP described safe consumption rooms as a policy that will save lives, but claimed it was Westminster who prevented them from being tested here.

They had the power to change this all this time and have proven it, but instead of taking responsibility they wanted to point the finger.
